Club membership provides unrivalled opportunities to expand networks, make new and lasting business relationships, increase professional development, leadership and mentoring amongst Members with a shared interest.

The Club environment offers an exclusive, discreet and convenient meeting venue, ideal for doing business, wining and dining your clients or enjoying a wide variety of social activities and exclusive events with like-minded professionals.

There are several categories of Membership on offer for new Members, including:

Corporate Gold, Metropolitan Gold, Metropolitan Gold Under 30 Years, Country, Country Under 30, Active Military, Retired and Associate Membership for partners of Individual Members.

 

There are also Absentee options for current members living outside of Western Australia.

Senior Membership is offered to individuals who have been a Member of The Western Australian Club for 20 years and exceed the age of 60. 

Honorary Membership is offered to individuals who have been a Member of The Western Australian Club for 40 years.

All Memberships are subject to Minimum Monthly Spend, which is dollar to dollar to your membership fee. This is charged each month equal to your usual monthly membership fee which will be credited to your account. Your MMS credit can be used either in the restaurant, bar, at Club events, private functions, or our take away wine list. Each MMS charge can be spent within three months after which it will, if not used, revert to The Club.

Applying for Membership

Business and professional people in Western Australia are welcome to apply for Membership to The Western Australian Club. There are several categories of Membership on offer for new members.

 

Applications must be signed by a Proposer and Seconder, whom must be a current Club Member, or alternatively the Club President or Committee member.

A one-off nomination fee is applicable for prospective members upon the approval of their membership application by the Club Committee.

Your membership application consists of a completed Application Form, Direct Debit Form and either a BIO, CV or LinkedIn Profile.

Upon election to membership the new member will receive a package which will include, among other things, his or her membership card and number. At this time, the membership subscription for the first year will be automatically deducted as agreed in the application form.

Completion of application form:

  • The form must be signed by a Proposer and a Seconder
  • The nomination fee is to be paid with the application form.
  • Once the application form has been submitted to the Administration Office, the Candidate’s name will be put forward to the Committee for approval (48 hours).
  • Upon approval by the Committee, the Candidate’s name will be posted on the Club Noticeboard for a two-week period for review by the entire membership. After the posting period, the candidate is eligible for election to membership by the Committee.
