Requirements for Admission

Business and professional people in Western Australia are welcome to apply for Membership to The Western Australian Club. There are several categories of Membership, including: Individual Membership; Under 35 Membership; Under 25 Membership; Country Membership; Retired/ Senior Membership; Active Military; Corporate; and Associate Membership for partners of Individual Members. Applications must be signed by a Proposer and Seconder. There is one-off joining fee for Prospective Members upon the approval of their Membership application by the Club Committee.

Completion of Application form. (Application forms may be requested from the Membership Director)

  • The form must be signed by a Proposer and a Seconder
  • Once the Application form has been submitted to the Administration Office, the Candidate’s name will be put forward to the Committee for approval.
  • Upon approval of the Committee, the Candidate’s name will be posted on the Club Noticeboard for a two-week period for review by the entire membership. After the posting period, the candidate is eligible for election to membership by The Committee.

Upon election to membership the new Member will receive a packet which will include, among other things, his or her membership card and number. At this time, the Entrance Fee and Membership subscription for the first year will be automatically deducted as agreed in the Application form.
